Theories abound, and mostly center on Artificial Intelligence Data Centers hogging them all, and that the RAM makers have switched to making data center specific chips. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve seen many DDR5 and even older DDR4 models 2-3x the price a year ago, and often sold out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/pricelasso.com\/blog\/best-places-to-buy-ram\">best places to buy RAM<\/a> include Micro Center, Best Buy, and my favorite New Egg. It may still be sold  out and at a high price.
