After buying a few items from my house, a few stores became the go-to.
After consulting a list of common online furniture stores, I tried almost all of them.
I had trouble with Amazon furniture, since it came damaged twice.
Wayfair was perfect, the swivel chairs were well packaged, and looked just like the pictures.
Ikea was a hit of miss. it seems like their furniture quality has gone down, with less real wood, and more plastic. The veneer isn’t even real wood, it’s often just a sticker. Not sure how long it will last vs previous item I’ve bought from Ikea.
Macy’s was great to get ideas in person, but we didn’t end up buying anything from there. I basically snapped some photos and reverse image searched to find it on Wayfair. And got it much cheaper and could read reviews.
