It used to be that Amazon always had the best prices, but these days Walmart often competes with Amazon and you see them price matching on many items. Sometimes Walmart can be significantly cheaper!

When I was buying snow chains for my car for an upcoming trip, I checked the exact model number on both Walmart and Amazon, and on the first day Amazon was $15 cheaper. The second day, Walmart was 1 cent cheaper, and the 3rd day Walmart was $10 cheaper because Amazon had increased the price. This just goes to show the importance of comparing prices and tracking them across both Walmart and Amazon.
You can also see price history from tracking Walmart with nice charts showing the price on the y-axis, and date on the x-axis, which is super helpful. By checking the chart, you know if it’s a small Walmart sale, or a larger one.
