I have had this problem when needing to give large excel documents to friends or coworkers, and since I use a mac, and most people use PCs, this is a constant problem. The easiest way to to transfer files from a Mac to PC used to be a USB drive that can work with both PCs and Macs. But now that all files live in the cloud, you can just use dropbox or google drive.
